About Our Church

Saint Mary Magdalene Coptic Orthodox Church was founded in 1997 to serve Copts who settled in this easternmost region of the Diocese.

The congregation was served by the late Hegumen Father Daniel Farag and the late Father Samuel Samaan until His Grace Bishop Serapion ordained Father Thomas Rizkallah in 2001.

Initially, the congregation prayed in a rented facility, but most recently, a large parcel of land was purchased for future building.
